Open Season enrollment has started, and it's the perfect time to discover all the benefits of the FSAFEDS Flexible Spending Account program. With FSAFEDS, you can save up to 30% on your eligible healthcare, prescription, dental, vision, and child or elder daycare expenses.
With Open Season starting Monday, November 13, 2017, it's time to begin planning for the 2018 benefit period and your re-enrollment in FSAFEDS. Remember, enrollment in FSAFEDS is voluntary, and you must actively re-enroll each year; participation does not automatically continue from year to year.
Recently, the IRS increased the amount participants may contribute to a Health Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or a Limited Expense Health Care FSA. For the 2018 benefit period, you can contribute up to a maximum of $2,650 - an increase of $50 from the 2017 benefit period.
Be sure you can access your FSAFEDS account before Open Season enrollment starts on Monday, November 13, 2017. Verifying your account login now will save time when you're ready to make your 2018 elections.

You may now submit claims for mileage to and from your dental and/or vision provider when you receive eligible care for reimbursement from your Limited Expense Health Care FSA (LEX HCFSA). In addition, parking costs associated with a visit to your provider are eligible for reimbursement.
